Sarmad Khoosat’s Zindagi Tamasha wins ‘Kim-Ji-Seok’ award at Busan International Film Festival

Sarmad Khoosat’s Punjabi film Zindagi Tamasha has won a huge position at the reputable Busan International Film Festival on Saturday, 12th October 2019. Khoosat’s directorial won The Kim Ji-Seok Award, named after the festival’s co-founder and executive programmer who passed away in 2017, reported Variety. The producer shared the honor with Indian director, Pradip Kurbah, whose film Market was also being screened at the Busan International Film Festival. https://youtu.be/bAYXVRQeT5U The jury was headed by Iranian producer Mohsen Makhmalbaf and Malaysian director-actor Tan Chui Mui and Korean film critic Huh Moon-young. However, The film stars Arif Hassan, Samiya Mumtaz, Ali Kureishi, and Eman Suleman. Khoosat also shows up by giving an outstanding performance in the movie.
