Nikhil Chinapa is one of the most talented and sought-after stars who flaunt his incredible skills. He is a great, well-known DJ, host, and festival curator as well. He is an Indian and born in Bangalore to a man who was a paratrooper in the Indian Army. He studied from Begumpet’s Hyderabad Public School and later joined Faust High School, Secunderabad, afterward, he attended the St. George High School Agra and Sreenivasaiah College of Engineering in Bangalore from where he earned a degree in Architecture.  While during studies, he took an interest in music and accepted various music gigs to do as a DJ on different occasions.

Career

The young, talented star often credited as popularizing EDM music among the youngsters of India. Since the late 90s, he has been associated with MTV India and has worked in many TV shows including the most famous show Roadies. While another popular show is SplitsVilla. Initially, he took the start of his career with the MTV VJ Hunt in 1999 where he hosted MTV Select. It was a show which introduced popular music and bands from each corner of the world. In 2000, he worked as an actor and made a debut movie “Snip”. Later, he worked as a host on various shows including “India’s Got Talent 2” alongside the heartthrob actor and singer Ayushman Khurrana and did various seasons of another famous show “MTV SplitsVilla. Also, he appeared as a judge on the shows including “Rock On”, “MTV Mashups, Fame X, and Seasons 4, 5and 7 of Roadies. In 2003, he also launched an EDM company in India along with his wife Pearl and Hermit Sethi. Fortunately, it became one of the largest EDM companies in India. In 2007, he launched a Sunburn alongside his wife. However, he has established his career in the field of music and has won the hearts of many with his melodious voice.
