Özge Yağız was born on 10 April 1997 in Istanbul, Turkey. She is a Turkish actress. She received her education from Başkent University in Communication Sciences Academy. She is best known for her leading role in The Promise (Yemin, 2019) alongside Gokberk Demirci, Can Verel, and Ceyda Olguner. Özge Yağız made her debut with the supporting role in Adini sen Koy (2016).
She is the smallest of a 4-member family. Her fans call her “new Turkan Soray” which is simply amazing.
Career Journey
Özge Yağız stepped into the realm of acting in 2017 with her debut serial Adini Sen Koy alongside Musab Ekici, Gözde Gürkan. The serial was broadcast on Star TV and Özge gained instant popularity. After that, she pursued her acting career with another debut Yemin that was broadcast on Kanal 7, it was her first leading role. In 2020, Özge Yağız appeared in another drama Sol Yanim with co-stars Tolga Mendi, Cemre Baysel, and Cansel Elçin. She was then transferred to the most famous historical fiction series Kuruluş: Osman with talented co-stars Burak Özçivit and Nurettin Sönmez, in 2020. She was chosen to play the character of Malhun Hatun, wife of Osman I. However, this thought was later dropped and actress Yıldız Çağrı Atiksoy portrayed the character of Malhun.
On the work front in 2021, Özge Yağız is working on the new drama serial named İçimizden Biri with Bora Akkas and Mustafa Avkiran.
