Rajesh Kumar Sharma, an Indian film and television actor, is predominantly working in the Bollywood film industry and Indian television industry. He is known for his outstanding contribution to the cinema and is loved by everyone. The viewers and his fans know him when he first gained recognition after performing in the television serial ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’. It was an acting project through which he earned a lot of fame. Apart from this, many hit and most-watched television serials are on the list, such as; Kusum’, Baa Bahu Aur Babay, and many others. He was born on 20th January 1975 in Mumbai, India where he grew up and studied. Later, he looked for work and luckily got a chance to establish his career in the Indian entertainment industry. It was the beginning of his career.

Career

Initially, Rajesh Kumar Sharma debuted through a small screen and appeared in Indian television serials. Among many, some of them are popular including ‘Krishna Arjun’, a crime thriller, ‘Ghar Ek Mandir, ‘Ek Mahal Ho Sapnon Ka’, Shararat’, a comedy serial, starring Farida Jalal (late), ‘Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chand’, and many others which became not just long-run television serials, yet most famous as well. He is better known for appearing in comedy serials including ‘Baa Bahu Aur Babay’, ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’.

From 1999 to 2021, the actor gave many heart-winning performances in his career life and people are in love with his excellent acting prowess. Mostly, he worked in television serials as he has acted in more than 36 television serials. Alongside, he also made a few appearances in Bollywood movies, such as; ‘Men Will Be Men’, which was released in the year 2011 wherein he appeared as Preet. In 2014, he portrayed the role of Suketu in the film named ‘Super Nani’. In 2019, he then made an appearance in the film named ‘Student of the Year 2’ in which he portrayed the role of Prem Narayan Sachdev.

In 2020, Rajesh Kumar Sharma also gave a fantastic performance in the web series named ‘Bhalla Calling Bhalla’, streamed on ZEE5. In the web series, he appeared as Rajesh Bhalla.

Achievements

In 2005, Sharma was awarded the Indian Telly Awards for the Best Actor in a Comic Role for the Indian television serial named ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’. In 2012, he then won the Indian Telly Awards for the category of Best Actor in a Comic Role (Jury Award) for ‘Chintu Chinti Aur Aik Badi Si Love Story’.
