Career

In 1995, Resham took the start of her career with a debut movie “Jeeva” which became an instant hit of the year. In the movie, she appeared as Dil Aara and worked alongside Babar Ali Khan. While before that, she had done a few roles in different serials. During the 90s, she gave outstanding performances in “Chor Machaye Shor”, “Ghunghat”, “Sangam”, “and other movies that are worth sharing. While she was honored with the National Award for the category of Best Actress for the movie “Sangam”. Some of her other popular projects include “Dupatta Jal Raha Hai” released in 1998, “Inteha”, released in 1999, and so on. She often played lead and supporting roles as well for which she got huge recognition. Apart from movies, Resham appeared in TV serials and also worked as a model as well. In 1999, she also honored the Nigar Award for the category of Best Actress for the movie “Jannat Ki Talaash” which was released in 1999. She also made an appearance in the serial named “Man-o-Salwa” in which she appeared as Zainab. While the serial was aired in 2007 and it was based on the famed novel written by Umera Ahmed. Fortunately, this got a nomination at the 7^th Lux Style Award for the category of Best TV Actress (Satellite). However, Resham who is a versatile, vibrant, and high-spirited actress has done various projects during her career life. In 2012, she has established an eastern wear boutique in France.
