Rohan Joshi attended K.J Somaiya College of Engineering, later, he dropped out and took admission in Jai Hind College from where he got an education. At that time, he worked as a journalist for a short time of period. He also studied at Asian College of Journalism from where he did a diploma in media journalism, before working for CNBC and Times Now. In 2011, he also performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Career

Besides working as a journalist, he additionally performed for corporate clients across the nation. He also worked as a columnist for various publications, such as; Mid-Day and others dailies. While in 2011-2012, he co-wrote the script of the Filmfare Awards and also performed more than 250 shows as well.

Also, he worked for the creative agency named “All India Bakchod” where he collaboratively worked alongside Gursimran Khamba, Ashish Shakya, and others.

Additionally, he also wrote several scripts for various YouTube sketches for “All India Bakchod”. Alongside this, he worked as a co-creator of the news comedy show titled “On Air With AIB”.

In 2019, Rohan Joshi started working on stand-up comedy special which was aired on Prime Video. Also, the special show “Wake and Bake” was released on Prime Video in the year 2020.

Achievements

He co-wrote the script of Filmfare Awards and it was one of the major victories of his life that he got this opportunity to write the script of the famed Filmfare Awards.
