O’ Connor started off his acting career with a role of Niall in the Lenny Abrahamson film What Richard Did. In 2016, he played a guest role in the RTE2 series titled ‘Can’t Cope, Won’t Cope’ and later, he played a recurring role in the BBC Northern Ireland series titled ‘My Mother and Other Strangers’.
The actor then landed his first major role as Michael Vincent on the television Sky One series named ‘Delicious’ started in 2016 and ended in 2018. In the same year, the actor appeared in the film named ‘Handsome Devil’.
