Ryan Bingham is a musician and actor, born George Ryan Bingham. His music spans multiple genres and he is based in Los Angeles, California. Bingham has released six studio albums and one live album so far, all of which have been released under his own label, Axster Bingham Records.
Career
Bingham grew up throughout the Southwest of the United States, becoming a bull rider at a young age. He learned music on a guitar given to him by his mother at age 16, initially playing after rodeos for friends. Later, he started playing in small bars and honky tonks across the West, moved to Los Angeles, California.
In 2007, Bingham signed his first record deal with Lost Highway Record (UMG). After getting critical acclaim for his first two studio releases on Lost Highway Records, such as; ‘Mescalito’ in 2007, and ‘Roadhouse Sun’ in 2009, he then collaborated with T-Bone Burnett, a Grammy award-winning producer.
In 2009, Bingham released another soundtrack for the critically acclaimed movie named ‘Crazy Heart’ with music producer T-Bone Burnett. A song titled ‘The Weary Kind’.
However, the singer has gained much popularity in his music career and is now an all-time favorite of all. He won an Academy Award, and many others.
Achievements
Bingham won the Academy Award, Golden Globe Award, and Critics’ Choice Award for “Best Song” in 2010. In 2011, he won the Grammy Award for “Best Song Written for a Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media”. In 2010, The Americana Music Association also honored Bingham with the organization’s top award as “Artist of the Year”.
