Saina Nehwal was born in Hisar, India on 17th March 1990. She is the second daughter of Usha Rani Nehwal and Dr. Harvir Singh Nehwal. She has an elder sister named Chandranshu Nehwal. Saina’s father has a PhD in agrarian science and worked at Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agriculture University. She completed her schooling at Campus School CCS HAU, Hisar and did her 12th from St. Ann’s College for Women, Hyderabad. She married to Badminton player, Parupalli Kashyap on December 14, 2018.
