Sharisse Jackson is an American actress and singer. She is best known for playing Niecy Jackson on the sitcom television series Moesha (1996-2001). In 2007, she has crowned the winner of the MTV reality show Celebrity Rap Superstar.
Career
Shar Jackson has also appeared in the sitcom television series The Bernie Mac Show (2001-2006) and teen drama television series So-Called Life as Crystal. She co-starred in the Nickelodeon comedy film Good Burger (1997) with Kel Mitchell and Kenan Thompson. She appeared in the reality series The Ex-Wives Club (2007) with Marla Maples and Angie Everhart.
The show focuses on supporting men and women who have recently gone through separation or divorce. In 2009, Jackson appeared in the musical comedy film Steppin: The Movie (2009) where she played Uwamma Layne.
Shar Jackson also appeared in the seventh season of the reality television series Celebrity Fit Club: Boot Camp from 2002 until 2006, which premiered in February 2010. She was a member of the short-lived pop girl group, Mpulz. The group released only one before disbanding in 2002.
In 2020, she appeared in the sarcastic comedy film Reboot Camp as Anita. Her other film credits include CB4 (1993), Grand Avenue (1996), Good Burger (1997), and Love & Basketball (2000).
