Taylor Delaney Hickson is a Canadian actress born in Kelowna, British Columbia. After graduating from high school, she had an acting audition with a casting agent, who signed her on the spot.

After playing a minor part in the movie Blackway, Hickson played another minor role in the 2016 film Deadpool. After appearing in several films and television series, she later starred in the television series Aftermath. She currently stars as Raelle Collar in the Freeform series Motherland: Fort Salem.

Career

Hickson was noticed by a casting agent who was a friend of her aunt in late 2014. She wasn’t interested in acting at first, but was persuaded to meet the agent, who signed her on the same day. Hickson drove several hours to and from auditions over the following weeks. As a troubled teen, she won a silent role in the film Blackway in 2015.

Her first speaking part was in the 2016 action-comedy Deadpool. Her character was Meghan Orlovsky, a girl who assisted the titular character.

Additionally, she starred in subsequent films in 2016, including G.L.O., Everything, Everything (2017), and Incident in a Ghost Land.

She played the lead role in Hunting Pignut, an independent drama based on a true story about a girl looking for a man. In 2017, she starred in the feature film Residue, in which she plays the daughter of a private investigator.

Achievements

She worked in the film ‘Giant Little Ones’ which led her to earn a nomination for Best Female Lead at the 2019 Leo Awards.
