Venkatesh Bhat is a famed Indian chef who demonstrates the preparation of scrumptious, delicious food. He studied Catering from Asan Memorial and earned a bachelors degree from Cornell University, and later, he did Masters in General Management from Nanyang University, Singapore. He is the most popular chef in India and has appeared in a large number of shows where he demonstrated the mouth-watering dishes and also shared tried and tested recipes with his fans.

Career

In 1994, Venkatesh Bhat started his career working in the Kitchens of Hotel Chola Sheraton. After two years, he moved to Taj Coromandel where he appointed as a management trainee in the section of hotel operations & kitchen management. Later, he promoted to the position of Sous chef in 1998.

In 2001, he joined Leela Palace, Bangalore where he appointed as an executive sous chef and later promoted to the corporate chef in 2004. In 2007, he left the job and became an entrepreneur. Later, he launched various brands and restaurants such as; Bon South, South Indies, and Up South.

From 2014-2018, he appeared on Tamil (Indian Television Series) and cooked 100 of his best recipes. Millions of viewers watched and tried his recipes. The program mainly focused the South Indian Cuisine and he brought exciting recipes for his fans. The show comprised of 190 episodes and aired on Vijay TV on every Saturday. In 2016, the show completed its 100 episodes.

In the show, Venkatesh Bhat shared his knowledge, experience, and some cooking techniques with viewers and demonstrated 100 of the most-liked recipes that he picked from his cookbook. The show featured various renowned celebrities and stars as well.

Afterward, he joined Accord Metropolitan and Accord Puducherry, High Hotel, Ooty. He worked and struggled day and night, as he worked as a CEO of hotels in a day time, while he worked as a chef during the evenings.
