Vijay Sethupathi is a renowned Indian movie actor, lyricist, producer as well as a dialogue writer who predominantly appears in Tamil movies. Pursuing his career as an accountant, Vijay Sethupathi initiated considering a career in acting. He initiated his filmy career by way of working as a background artist, portraying trivial supporting roles for more than five years, prior portraying his first leading role in Seenu Ramasamy’s movie titled Thenmerku Paruvakaatru. Vijay moved ahead to portray the role of a Villian in the movie titled Sundarapandian and got his getaway roles with the movies Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom and Pizza. He has starred in more than 25 movies. Over the last couple of years, Vijay Sethupathi has malformed into a popular and successful actor of Tamil cinema.
Vijay Sethupathi was born in Rajapalayam, India on 16th January, 1978. After that, he settled in Chennai in 6th class. He resided in Ennore situated in North Chennai. He joined Little Angels Mat HR Sec School and MGR Higher Secondary School in Kodambakkam. In accordance with Sethupathi, he was an average student since his schooling days and was neither fascinated towards sports nor other activities.
Vijay Sethupathi did a number of odd jobs with the intention of earning pocket money i.e. cashier at a fast food joint, salesman at a retail store as well as a phone booth operator. He earned his bachelor’s degree with a major in commerce from Dhanraj Baid Jain College. After finishing his college, he worked as an accountant at a wholesale cement venture. He had to look out three of his siblings and settled in Dubai, UAE as a bookkeeper just because it paid him five times more than what he was earning in India. During his years in Dubai, he fell in love with Jessie and tied the knot with her in 2003.
Vijay Sethupathi has three siblings, one younger brother, one younger sister and one elder brother. In the year 2003, he returned back from Dubai with the intention of marrying his girlfriend with whom he had met online. The couple was blessed with two children, a daughter Shreeja and a son Surya. His son Surya made his first acting debut portraying the novice version of Sethupathi in the movie titled Naanum Rowdy Dhaan.
