Amitash Pradhan is an Indian film actor who works in Tamil and Telugu cinema. He is mainly known for his outstanding performances in movies like; “Vaaranam Aayiram” (2008), and “Velaiilla” Pattadhari” (2014). Later, he appeared in “Bruce Lee- The Fighter”(2015), and “Vaanam Kottatum”(2020).

He was born on 12^th October 1990, Karnataka, India, and born to Girish Pradhan(father-Telugu actor) and Weena Pradhan( mother). Amitash Pradhan completed his schooling from Bala Vidya Mandir and later, got a degree in Electronic Media from Anna University.

Career

He started his professional career in 2014 with the Tamil drama titled “Velaiyilla Pattadhari” in which he portrayed the negative role. Fortunately, the film became an instant hit at the box office as he gave a wonderful performance.

After gaining success and fame, he marked his identity in the Telugu Film Industry by Srinu Vaitla,-director.

In 2015, he made his Tamil debut movie named “Bruce Lee- The Fighter” in which he worked alongside Ram Charan.

Later, Amitash Pradhan confirmed on social media that he is going to make a Hollywood film debut “Heartbeats” which was directed by Step Up 4 U. While it was written by Duane Adler and released in 2017.

However, before joining a film line, he worked as an actor on theatres and appeared in “The Virtuous Burglar” (2009), “Whose wife is she anyway” (2010), “The Fire & the Rain” (2010) and “The Cyclist” (2011).

After gaining experience while performing at the theatre, he then decided to join the cinema.
