Career

He is best known for his role as Sam Evans in the Fox television series Glee from 2009 to 2015. Recently, he released his debut singles, “Sunkissed” and “Good Times”. He has an older brother, named Nash Overstreet and fours sister, named Summer, Harmony, Skye, and Charity. His parents named him after the musical term of the same name. Overstreet grew up on a farm outside of Nashville. His parents supported him to pursue music. He started performing the mandolin at an early age and moved on to other musical instruments, such as drums, flute, piano, and guitar. As a teenager, he has also worked for many advertisements, including Hollister, Famous Footwear, and Gap. His mother homeschooled him. He performed the role of Dupree in the film A Warrior’s Heart (2011). In the same year, he performed as Sam Evans in the film Glee: The 3D Concert Movie. Overstreet also acted as Nick in 4th Man Out (2015). In 2020, he also played the role of Tom in the film The Swing Of Things. He has also worked in television series, including iCarly (2009) episode: “iSpeed Date”. Lucas Fisher in the No Ordinary Family (2010) Episode: “Unaired Pilot”. He gave voice to the TV series Pickle and Peanut (2016-2017) Episode: “Gregazoids/Meat Ballers”. In 2011, he performed the role of Ralph Wilkerson in the TV series The Middle episode: “Hecking Order”.
