Diane Keaton started off her career on stage and appeared in the Broadway production in 1968, in the musical Hair. In 1969, she was earned a nomination for a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play for her performance in ‘Woody Allen’s comic play named ‘Play it Again, Sam’.
She then made her screen debut and played a small role in ‘Lovers And Others Strangers’ in 1970. She rose to fame after playing the role of kay Adams-Corleone in Francis Ford Coppola’s The Godfather’ which was released in the year 1972.
In 1974, she then appeared in its sequel ‘The Godfather part II and Part III in 1990. She made her career with the help of the well-known film director Woody Allen. Among others, her collaborations with Allen are ‘Sleeper’ in 1973, ‘Love and Death’ in 1975, ‘and Annie Hall’ in 1977.
However, she shaped her dreams and got acknowledgment and praise from the viewers in her career life. She has proved herself a sought-after star in the film industry.
