Gopi GPR is a famous Tamil movie actor. He is famous for his supporting roles in various Tamil movies. He is known for his powerful supporting roles in the movies like Irumbu Thirai and Server Sundaram.

Gopi GPR is an Indian actor who has worked in many famous Tamil movies. He was born on 22nd August 1985 in Sivasagar, district Assam, India. He did his early education from a town near Karaikal. After that, he went back to his home town Sivasagar and completed his high school. He was always interested in the field of performing Arts so after completing his studies he came straight into the film industry to try his luck as an actor.

In an interview to a local publication, he revealed that T. Rajender who later became an  Indian movie actor, music composer, songwriter, screenwriter, producer and cinematographer was his father’s classmate so he has been grown up listening to his uncle’s stories which made a huge impact on him and from there he decided to try his luck in the field.

The decision came with a price that he had to pay by struggling hard to make his name in the industry.

During his struggling years, he had to face a number of rejections which made him decide to go to Dubai to deal with his financial considerations. He worked there for a span of 12 years. He got a breakthrough in the industry from the movie Server Sundaram which was supposed to be released earlier but due to some unfavorable circumstances it got delayed and now rescheduled for release in December 2020. Meanwhile, he worked in a number of movies and some of the prominent ones are Aadai and Hero which were released in 2019.  He has a number of other movies on his credit like Raja Ranguski, Adangamaru, Aame, and 96 to name a few.

Gopi was not satisfied with his achievements and he was always on a look for challenging role but sadly that was a time of commercial movies and all filmmakers were following a rat race of the industry. In that time he did not lose hope but decided to write himself a dream role that he always wanted to play and that was of a transgender. He was so passionate and dedicated to the work that he started following a real transgender Grace Bhanu to get unfiltered insight into the life of the transgender community. Soon he started working on his movie “Ival Bharati” and successfully developed a dream role for himself. It was a 12 minutes film that made an uproar in the Tamil film industry and made him win several prestigious awards. He recently managed to win an award for his movie at the national transgender film festival. This movie has also managed to record more than one lakh views on YouTube which is also one of the biggest achievements.
