Inder Kumar was an Indian film actor who appeared in supporting roles in Bollywood movies, such as; “Wanted”, Tumko Na Bhool Payenge”, Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi”, and Kahin Pyar Na Ho Jaye”. Also, he appeared in Pragyesh Singh’s directorial “Choti Si Guzarish”. While he appeared in the movie “Phati Padi Hai Yaar” before his death. He was born on 26th August 1973 and belongs to a Marwari family, Jaipur. He got his education from St.Xavier’s High School, Fort. Later, he did graduation from Sardar Vallabbhai Patel Vidyalaya. Inder Kumar died on 28th July 2017, due to cardiac arrest at his house.
Career
In 1996, Inder Kumar started his career in the Bollywood film industry and made a film debut with “Massom” in which he worked alongside Ayesha Jhulka. He has worked in more than 20 movies in 21 years of his career. In 1990s, he has appeared in some most-watched, popular movies as a supporting actor for which he got huge acclaim. He was considered one of the best actors in the film industry.
In 1996, he appeared in Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi”, while he also worked in the movie named “Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaye” in which Salman Khan and Rani Mukherjee played lead roles. While Jackie Shroff, Pooja Batra, and others played vital roles. The film was among the best releases of 2000.
In the same year, he also worked in “Gaja Gamini”, “Maa Tujhe Salaam”, (2002), and “Tumko Na Bhool Payenge”, (2002).
Apart from this, he also worked on television and appeared in television series, such as; the most watched serial “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi”.
His career affected when he was bedridden for 5 years after a broken vertebra from helicopter fall. It was the time when he did a stunt on the film set of “Maseeha” in 2002.
Afterward, he appeared in a Bengali movie “Agnipath” in 2005 which became a flop. After various flop movies, he came back with a movie named “Wanted” in 2009 in which he worked alongside Salman Khan, and fortunately, the film became an instant hit of the year.
Personal Life
Inder Kumar had been married thrice. In 2003, initially, he married Sonal Kariya who is the daughter of his mentor, Rajoo Kariya. But when things didn’t go well, the couple parted their ways. The couple together had a first child, Khushi. Later, Inder Kumar dated Isha Kopikar for 11 years but they didn’t get married. In 2009, he got married to Kamalijeet Kaur, but after 2 months of their wedding, they got divorced. In 2013, he married to Pallavi Sarraf and they had a daughter, Bhavana.
