Kenan Kalav was born on November 1, 1961, in Turkey. Kenan was originally born with the name Yusuf Kenan Kalav. Kenan is a German Turkish film actor. His mother Cevat Bey was the chemistry professor and the daughter of German Suzi from Mardin. Kenan Kalav completed his early education from İstanbul Özel Alman Lisesi. Later on, in order to pursue the advanced studies, Kenan Kalav attended Marmara University Press and Publishing Academy. Kenan Kalav also received the certification in tourism and hotel management from Munich.
Kenan Kalav alongside his wife was heading to Spain, Barcelona from Istanbul. As soon as they reached the airport for departure they got arrested and taken into custody by the police. They were accounted for on the grounds of having two and a half pounds of heroin in luggage.
