Career
In 2003, Mahie Gill took the start of her career with a Bollywood movie “Hawayein” and since then, she has been doing multiple tasks and also appeared in various Punjabi movies. Also, she did some theatre plays for which she got huge acclaim. In 2004, she appeared in the movie “Khushi Mil Gayee”, “Sirf Paanch Din” released in the year 2006. In 2007, she gave tow best movies including “Khoya Khoya Chand” and “Mitti Wajan Mardi”. In 2008, she also worked in the movie “Chak De Phatte”. In the year 2009, she gave an amazing performance and won the Filmfare Critics Award for the category of Best Actress for the movie “Dev.D”. In the same year, she appeared in some movies including “Gulaal”, “Pal Pal Dil Ki Saath”, “Dabangg”, “Aagey Se Right” and others that are worth sharing. However, she has worked in the more than 35 movies and the best is, she has won several awards including the Filmfare Award – nomination for the category of Best Actress for the movie “Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster” in 2012, Screen Awards for the category of Most Promising Newcomer-Female for the movie “Dev.D” in the year 2010, IIFA Star Debut Award for the same movie in the year 2010, Big Star Entertainment Awards for the movie “Saheb, Biwi, Aur Gangster Returns” in the year 2013.
