Mohammad Yusuf Khan was his real name. Devika Rani, a popular Bombay Talkies actor, gave him the screen name ‘Dilip Kumar.’ Uday Kumar and Vaaman Kumar are two other names that were considered. 
2. First Pakistani Actor In Bollywood
The ‘Devdas’ star was the first Pakistani actor to appear in Bollywood. Not only that, but he was the first actor to win the Best Actor award at the Filmfare Awards.
3. His Mentor
His debut film was ‘Jwar Bhata.’ He got the part thanks to the recommendation of the legendary actor “Ashok Kumar”, who was his mentor in his early days as an actor.
