Prashant Thiagarajan, popularly known as Prashant was born on 6th April 1973 in India. He is an actor and businessman, known for his work in Tamil cinema, he has also worked in few Telugu, Hindi, and Malayalam films. 1- Family & Origin
Prashant is the maternal grandson of Peketi Sivaram, who was a South Indian actor and director of Telugu, Tamil and Kannada films. His father Thiagarajan is also an actor and director who married Shanthi Thiagarajan while his paternal cousin is an acclaimed actor Vikram. Prashant married to V. D. Grahalakshmi on 1st September 2005 and their son was born on 31st July 2006, but unfortunately, the couple got divorced three years later.
2- Well- educated
He studied Computer Graphics and Multimedia and then went to Trinity College of Music in London before embarking on an acting career. Prashant completed his 12th grade and was enlisted in two medical colleges. He always wanted to be a Doctor.
3- Career and Achievements
Prashant began his career at 17 with his appearance in Vaigsi Poranthachu (1990) and then went to other films such as Tholi Muddhu (1993), and mani ratnam’s comedy Thairuda Thairuda (1993). Prashant rose to stardom with the blockbuster romantic comedy movie Jeans in 1998 in which he played the dual lead role opposite Aishwarya Rai.
