Sonam Kapoor Ahuja is best known as Sonam Kapoor. She is one of the beautiful Bollywood actress who was born on 9th June 1985, in Bombay, Maharashtra, India. Due to Kapoor’s popularity and income, she was included in Forbes India’s Celebrity 100. While her short spanning of career from 2012–2016, she has received a National Film Award as well as a Filmfare. Kapoor has a strong artistic background and is a member of India’s well-known filmy family, Kapoor family. Her father is also a well-known Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor whereas her mother is a former model and designer Sunita. Kapoor has two younger siblings who are her sister and the Bollywood film producer Rhea Kapoor and brother Harshvardhan Kapoor. She got married to a famous businessman Anand Ahuja last year.

Initially, Sonam Kapoor was the Waitress at the age of 15 for just for a few weeks at a Mexican restaurant in Singapore while her two years studies of theatre and arts in Singapore. Kapoor did this job to supplement her pocket money.

Sonam Kapoor besides her acting and her contributions in arts, has also interest in politics. Kapoor has studied Political Science and Economics from the University of East London, UK.
