I am speechless! I live in the USA and I came upon this awesome Resurrection Ertugrul Series on Netflix last Monday. I have watched the entire 75 episode in 6 days. Just beginning season 2.
I feel like I am in the Ottoman Empire. My thanks to each of the actors and actresses, behind the scenes for bringing forth this Epic journey for me to embark on.
Now for Season 2 : Episode 4. !!!
May God Bless each ot you for blessing me.
Michael Easterling USA ??
I’m part Turkish and my cousins recommended Ertugrul. I watched the first episode a month ago and I was HOOKED! Now I am on season 2 episode 89 (which I just finished watching right now) I love it and this stuff actually happened! My favorite characters are Halime Hatun (played by Esra Belgic) also Gökçe (played by Burcu Kiratli) Aykiz (played by Hande Subaşı) and lots more!!!
I usually don’t watch shows but this one got me hooked! I am American and I saw this Resurrection Ertugrul series and I have been watching this show with my daughter and son!
this is honestly the best show I’ve come across. I have been watching this show for a few days and I CANNOT TAKE MY EYES OFF OF IT! I recommended it to my friends and family and they’re addicted too.
In love with this series and all things Turkish .You bring everything so alive.awesome acting.from USA ,can’t watch anything else .In 2nd series and 3 more to go….whoopee
I am an American and love foreign movies . Been watching Turkish movies for 2 years and am mesmerized ,I love them .Watching Dirilis Ertugrul and this is their best so far ,love history ,and into 2nd season ,it’s better than first. I have time for nothing else ,,thank-you, I love your shows.
This series is addictive. The actors are wonderful, such expressive faces and realistic performances! I don’t like to see so much violence, but can’t stop watching this fine ensemble. I love the Sufi scenes and music. A must watch for anyone interested in the craft of filmmaking. The English subtitles are good enough, although full of really funny errors.
I have watched Dirilis Ertugrul right through, beginning to end twice. Loved it. I read Turkish history, the history and beliefs of Islam, and Ottoman Empire history. Ertugrul opened a whole new medieval world for me as a student of English medieval history, art architecture and literature. Now I know what was going on at the same time in Anatolya, Byzantium, and what the Mongols were up to. I hope to travel to Turkey from New Zealand with my brother, Covid allowing, to explore some of the places in the series and wallow in Turkish culture. A couple of 70 somethings tottering round Istanbul?
My husband and I are Jamaicans living in the USA. We love watching Historical Movies. We watch a lot of Korean and Chinese History . I don’t remember how we got to watching this Turkish Historical Movie, but we are hooked. I am so in love with this series to the point I do get a gist of the storyline, what is going to happen next and who is going to say what. My favourite characters are Ertugrul his brothers and Alps. Also Selcan, Halime, Gokce, Mother Hayme and many other as I keep on watching. I am on Season 2 Episode 70. I watch one to three Episodes per night.
We came across this series a few months ago. Last night we watched the last episode of Season 5. EXCELLENT acting. Loved it. Look forward to more and the sequel. Very enjoyable.
I got addicted watching Ertugrul, so enchanting and realistic.. I love Halime Sultan, Dogan, Bamsi and Turgut.. of course Ertugrul… How i wish Wild Demir did not die… hat’s off to the Producer,Writers,Director and the powerful cast. Philippines is loving you!!!!
Excellent series , fantastic actors and actresses , very good story line ……. and it teaches humanity of how people should live accordingly and righteous and to not do bad things to others and hope that we all can learn from it ……Thumbs up…..Best series i have ever watched thus far !!!!
I am so hooked on this series. The casting, directing the characters have become my friends as I watch life and death happen on the series. And love Ertugrul. Wow . and all the other characters are excellent in their roles. Never thought I would become addicted to a series like this. but I did. Now on season 4.
My husband and I start to watch this series two months ago & we are now at season 4 epi 78. Just wow, we love the show , the cast & there roles. Thanks to netflix – From Filipino fans, Philippines,
There are some lame plots at times, the English subtitles are mis-spelled in quite a few instances. Having noted its shortcomings, I have watched season; 1,2,3, 4 and 5 so far. The cast are superb in their respective roles, the costumes are wonderful. The fight scenes are superbly choreographed depicting the barbarity of the times. Having given a so so review of the plots, needless to say the series are still additive to watch nevertheless. The audience is given a foreign version in film making, away from Hollywood’s stale movie making. American directors take note; enrich this countries short history with similar series.
I am watching Resurrection for the second time and the actors are becoming like family to me.
Enjoy historical films and this is just the best ever. The actors are so believable and have followed
their other films on Turkish T.V Would love to see a continuation of Osman uniting the Turks in
establishing a Muslim empire but would certainly miss the characters from Resurrection.
I’m an American prisoner of this production. Thank you for giving me to see an expanded view of history. Helps ones perspective on life.
Kudos to all involved.
Throughout history I have read and researched the attack of Mongolians. This series shed light on the cruelty of Mongolians attack on parts of the regions. It seems human brains did not have reasoning. Acted just like animals.
I have been watching for a month straight. I’m on my last two episodes, season 5. I’ve learned so much about the Turkish history. I had no knowledge prior to this series. I love it! All the actors are so alive, well played, it didn’t seem like its history. I love the way they play the music the way they dress, the way they lived, the way they loved, how they fought to the death,. for justice, and how they treated their people. I love how they prayed and put God first. God wills everything. The Turkish history it’s surreal I don’t want it to end……
Wow! I am American and absolutely love this series. I finished the complete show at the end of 2020. Enjoyed it so much I am rewatching it. Hurry with the next parts as I hear they are filming or finishing. Come on Netflix we are anxiously awaiting the next parts of this series you have a winner here.
I was addicted from the beginning to the last episode. Thinking about watching it again. By far a great series with amazing actors and actresses I am in love with. Learned a lot about the history of the Turkish people and the Mongolian people. My husband studies a variety of histories so he knew about a lot of it, although he didn’t watch the series with me he would tell me about different things. I had never thought about so much cruelty during those periods of time. Love Ertugrul. Best show ever.
I started watching this series in during COVID lockdown. I absolutely love it. I love that it is a clean program. I love the customs, the respect for your elders, the respect towards other even though they are enemies, so many things. Can I mention that there are a bunch of beautiful people, beautiful women and some FINE MEN!!!!!!!
Almost finished with season 5:( Wondering what to watch now. I believe there is a season 6 coming out.
First thing after I return home from work is to watch Ertugrul serial. Every actor has put his/her best performance making this TV series a great hit which is being viewed by millions of people around the world. Watching Ertugrul has touched my heart and now made up my mind to visit Turkey after watching season 5. Turkey is a beautiful country with hospitable people, friendly environment and off course delicious cuisines . Will make it soon to the land of Erturgul.
Hi,I live in England have been absolutely addicted to Dirrilis Erturgrul since the first episode. I have watched them all and love it so much I am watching it again!! I just adore Bamsi,Dogan,Hayme, Wild Demir, Turgut and it is a pleasure to watch. The fight scenes are really awesome,Bamsi has a style all of his own.I love it!!!xxxx
Dirilis Ertugrul is by far one of THE best netflix series ever broadcast!! The acting, storyline, scenery & soundtrack are phenomenal!! I am obsessed with all the characters but Bamsi, Noyan, Turgut, Wild Demir, Hayme Ana & of course Ertugrul are my favs!!! Now come on Netflix & let’s get Kurulus Osman on air!!!!!
I’m on series two! Fantastic. Love the story lines. It’s so informative to see the other side and the culture.
Going a bit cross eyed having to read the subtitles and watching so many episodes.
Well done everyone
Claire
??
I cried when i got to the end of Season 5 and dashed to the internet to see if there is more.
Thank God there is a Season 6. Incredible cast and acting. Amazing story telling.
I live in Trinidad in the Caribbean and was browsing through NetFlix for a new series to watch. OMG since I started watching it, I’m totally taken a back from the actors right down to the wardrobe. Soooo impressed with this series, although I am just on season 1 eps 57. Hats off again to the writers, producers, wardrobe personnel and the full cast. Totally ENJOYABLE.
Intrigued and fascinated on the whole series. I’m at season 3 and look forward to the next episode on a daily basis. I am not a person who gets attached to TV, but this one takes the cake. As being Christian, I was immediately taken up by the basis of the story that emphasizes the power of Good over Evil and the price that’s paid to gain God given victory over the evil and treacherous elements of the world, Truly, a true testament of the strength and faith that the Almighty has laid out to challenge all Earthly beings
My husband and I found this on Netflix and could not watch anything else for four months. Loved the acting, customs and everything else about it. We finished it tonight and we are already going through withdrawals.
Can’t wait to watch season 6 !
I’m so hooked on this series! I love Erugrul Halime’s love. I miss Aykis, Wild Demir, Goltce. I had a love/hate relationship with Selcan. I am an American. African American in fact. I am more spiritual than religious. Completely open minded. I think this series is more historical to me. I don’t care either way. I love it! Isn’t it a little spiritual how all of our remarks/replies are worded the same? It seems like we all kinda “stumbled” upon this awesome series. It seems to have taken over our lives in an obsessive way. I watch it until my bedtime and it’s one of the first things I think about in the morning. I’m happy to know that I’m not the only one hopelessly in love with this series. It’s like being an alcohol-addict. The cast is quite easy on the eyes too. What do y’all think about our (viewers) connection to each other in reference to this series?
This was duchba grest series. I vould not get enough of it. I keep watching it ovrr and over on NETFLIX. I wish that the series could continue, especially here in America. Please continue this series. This story must finish up to the point of the start of the Ottoman Empire.
Hi im from ireland i watched season 1 on season 2 87 espoild i love it so much. And they story behind it is great i love the actors. Especially the main man. But great series
Resurection is absolutely the BEST show I have ever watched. I am on season 4 and I love everything about this series. Thank God I found this series on Netflix. I have learned so much. American Television is so boring for the most part. This series is wonderfully acted and the cinamatography is breath taking. Thanks to the cast and crew of this wonderful series.
Well written series. It makes you laugh ,it makes cry and makes you proud to be muslim.
Great acting and directing.Thank you to all that participated making this great show.
Hats off and a bow to the directors and producers and an amazing cast …this is spellbound entertainment.. love period pieces.. and this series is like no other as someone wrote .. Hollywood should take notes and there is no overly use of swearing and no sexual content love it ..I’ve never wanted to meet any American actors but I would love to meet the whole crew that made this epic series. And it makes me want to visit this incredible place one day.. I hope every voice of this crew get excellent work in the future they are exceptional humans to watch hope your country shows you much love for your talents
I love this series. It has allowed me to understand a little bit more about the true Islamic faith. I am Sicilian, and many of my traditions have Islamic influences from the time of its occupancy. True religion is in the heart it is all about love for God and respect
For humanity. Anna
Since I started watching this series , I have shared w family and friends what a jewel it is. The actor playing Ertugrul is good at comedies too. I am not a fan of binge watching but this series: cast, script, music and production captivates. Thank you to all involved.
Loved Elgin in My Fathers Violin . The textiles and costumes are breathtaking in this series . Praying that Muslims will understand Yeshua is the way of peace , “No man comes to the Father ex
cept through the son “ Great drama , blessings on them all in real life!
I do not watch series show at all. I happened to come across this show and loved it. To be honest I only watch is because of the Turgut. He is a shadow character from the sidelines but played the most important role in the show, the protector. If was not for him I would not have watched it at all. But overall the show is PERFECTLY BINDING AND CREATED.
Thank you to ALL of the actors and those behind the scenes for all of their hard work and dedication. I can’t imagine what it took mentally, physically, and emotionally to do it. A very special thank you for the actor who played the lead role of Ertugrul. Your undying faith, belief and gratefulness to Allah was truly inspiring and got me through some dark times. May you always be blessed.
I love this culture as portrayed in the series. The soft spoken, polite, gracious, respectful attitudes combined with inner strength, loyalty, faith, purpose and acceptance. So missing in Western culture and movies, and so beautiful that I plan to read the Koran though I would not consider myself a religious person.
I have spent several weeks in Turkey (having read a history of the Ottoman Empire) and I was deeply touched by the graciousness of the people. I believe the Blue Mosque to be one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen and I was so drawn to it I almost felt I must have been there in another lifetime.
Just started watching Ertugrul, Ressurection. This drama has no swearing, nudity, kissing, love making and other unnecessary attention seeking gratuitous acts. I am addicted ! The costume, script, scenery etc is out of this world! The drama is encouraging me to be a little bit more spiritual and seek out my religion more. Hats off to the Turkish film making industry. The storyline isn’t stale. Twists n turns, and you actually care about the characters. I like Halime, Mother Hayme, Gokce, Bamsi, Wild Demir, Dogan, Suleman and Isadora. My favourite female in Series 1 is Aykis. I’ve also developed a mild crush on Ertugrul n Turgut. What fine specimen of Warriors! Lol.
I am an American I love this series so much!!! Wonderful acting especially the main character. Love the costumes, the actors, and the history of the show. I love Outlander but I love this series more! Great job writers and actors!
I watched the whole season for two times before and currently watching the continuation Kurulus Osman. It is as amazing as well! Apparently after the success of this popular Turkish series they made other astounding series such as this one which I watched online. They did on the Seljuk empire for example. Look out for the rest of other series! You will definitely be hooked as well!
I LOVE this series – it is captivating and the storyline is fabulous – especially as it is based on actual history. Of course, the beautiful men make it even more compelling! Great show – I hope we can get more like it the future!

I love you guys and I cant go a day without watching. Only on episode60 chapter 2. very good acting and love the outfits. The killings are brutal, Thank you all for keeping me company every night.
I am addicted to Resurrection Ertugrul. Took me two months to watch all 5 seasons. Am watching again. I fast forward through fight scenes but love everything else. I wish Kurulus Osman was on Netflix also.
Resurrection ertugrul isn’t exactly correct, not much is known about Ertugrul, other then he was a great strategically and the father of Osman. The time period is not quite correct either. The Turkmans never defeated the Mongols. The Mongols defeated themselves. I enjoyed the series Resurrection Ertugrul despite the historical nonsense, and somenof of the acting hokie. I’m on my 3rd time around the block, haha.. I do recommend watching the series as it’s not hard getting into the actors roles. I was saddened by Dugans death though.
I’m well hooked now on series 4. Love it I will be so sorry when it’s finished. This as kept me company every night. Well done to all the cast. Plenty of tears and laughter. LOVE BAMSI. WHAT A CHARACTER.
Watching from Ontario, Canada and really enjoying this series, probably one of the best I have seen on Netflix. The actors are great and its an eye opener for westerners to glimpse into a different culture and religion. The actors are great and fight scenes lots of fun to watch, so glad I found it.
I love this series, I want to say God bless all of them from the director to the actors I hope one day this series receive OSCAR I love Ertugrul and Halime Hatun the best. I have to watch it few more times I am watching it from USA. My words is not good enough to describe the all actors play GOD BLESS all of you again you deserve the best.
I too accidentally found this series and am fascinated by it and in love with the cast. This has to be one of the best stories written ever and casting is amazing as they are so in tune with the era and roles. So much that I can feel their love and frustration for each other. I too watch this at bedtime tiil 2 or 3am and have to force myself to stop to get some sleep. My 9 yo who sneaks into my bed is also addicted and I have to kick him out of my room just so he can go to sleep.
I’m on my third time watching the series and absolutely love everyone and everything about it. It’s like nothing I’ve ever watched. The actors and actresses are stellar and the cinematography and storylines are outstanding. I loved learning about the Islamic/Muslim world. Being a very physically involved production, I thank everyone for their time, effort and talent. You are all “the best of the best.” 👏😘
FANTASTIC series! I am American watching this show on Netflix and am on season 5. Wonderful acting, production storyline and music! Addicting for sure! One episode leads to another! Great job!!
This great series was seen me and my family in covid 2020 and we are caught by it this much that we travelled to Turkey in 2021 and visited the tomb of Ertugral Ghazi in Sogot. The guide was impressed by us that just after seeing Ertugral TV serial they came to Turkey.
My husband and I are fascinated and engaged in this wonderful series. The Turkish actors are beautiful, handsome awesome. The women beguiling and the men testosterone healthy. It’s Top of the top in film action and filled my God loving soul at it’s telling of the truths of Allah, throughout. Thank you. We’re in our last season and will miss them all. We love foreign films because we love all the peoples of the world. Thank you and love to our Turkish Brothers and sisters.
Fantastic! The moral compass was in tact for the time and people, as that is what motivated and provided the success of this family in establishing a homeland way back in the 12th century . Absolutely loved it, all 5 seasons . My only wish is that it could continue, although I believe the actors were almost all saddle sore and wanted to go on with their lives………Blessings to everyone involved and their families for sharing themselves and this master pease with us.
I’m speechless… I’m not really sure why I started watching the show, but I’m hooked. The actors and the Director did a great job on bringing this entire series to life and reminding us that being good to each other in the midst of injustice.
I came across this series while at home one day watching netflix with my dog, I am 51 years old, I was raised as a muslim and I recently lost my mother who was so passionate about Islam, I have watched Ertrugrul (all 5 seasons) literally 5 times and I have watched the series Osman going on my 3rd time, watching this series and realizing what the muslims went through just to be able to practice Islam was unbelievable and heartbreaking, the fact that they persevered showed how strong they were and watching this show I feel so much closer to my mom. I want to thank all of the actors and actresses that bought this wonderful series to life (Osmans show included), thank you for such a spiritual experience.
When I saw how many seasons (5) there were, and the total number of episodes (448?), I thought no way am I going to commit to watching this, but I will watch for a while. I am now on episode 62, season 1, and am in awe at this magnificent, historical series, and look forward every night to continue watching. The acting is excellent, the setting is beautiful, everything about this series is jaw dropping. I highly recommend it. I’m watching it on Netflix.
I have watched this series 25+ times. I am addicted. I live in Charlotte, North Carolina. I am hoping I can find a way to watch season 6 if Netflix really takes it off their program lineup. The best series I have ever seen and I am 73 so there has been many. Characters are beautiful people!!
An all together excellent series. I am into season 4 and Netflix does not show season 5. This series has captivated me for 4 months. The acting is superb and I really enjoy the Alps’ love for each other. It’s the best entertainment out there. I’m from western NY.
I have been following Osman since it started and was addicted to the series but should have watched Ertugrul first to understand the build up. I have watched all 5 seasons and started watching Ertigrul again as of yesterday as I am totally intrigued by the history and the superb acting by the cast.
For those who wish to watch both Ertigrul and Osman you may watch both on osmanonline.co.uk
The perseverance, patience and steadfastness is truly and inspiration to me as a Muslim of South Africa and I am pretty sure to the rest of the world as well. This series has heightened and strengthened my belief in Allah.
I love this show so much I have watched it on Netflix all episodes seasons one through five many times! The last day to watch is March 31st! Resurrection is the best show I have ever watched! The acting is so believable, storyline great Netflix needs to bring it back! I will be sad on March 31st! Thank you for bringing such a vital part of history , and fine production to the screen!♥️
