Deeksha Joshi is an actress, hailing from Gujrat, India, and mainly works for the Gujarati film industry. She has worked in several movies and has marked her identity in the cinematic world by giving stellar performances. Eventually, she established herself as the leading actress in the Gujarati film industry.

She was born on 4^th December 1992, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India where she raised and grew up for along with siblings and parents. She is the daughter of Hem Joshi and Rashmi Joshi. In 1992, she along with her family moved to Ahmedabad where she got her primary education from Eklavya School. Later, she did graduation from St. Xavier’s College in English Literature.

Career

She started her career with the debut movie named “Shubh Aarambh” which was released in 2017. The film was followed by Kasandas Pay & Use (2017). The film got critical acclaim and became commercially hit.

While she also appeared in “Sharato Lagu” which was the best release of 2018. In the film, she worked alongside Malhar Thakkar. This was another commercial hit movie which earned huge success for her best performance. In 2018, Deeksha Joshi won the GIFA Best Actress Award of the year 2018 for she played in the movie named “Sharato Lagu”.

In 2019, she worked in “Dhunki” and established herself as the best leading actress of the Gujrati Cinema. In the film, she worked alongside Pratik Gandhi, and fortunately, the film became another super hit movie of the year for which she earned huge applause and her fans noted her for her outstanding performances.

In 2020, she won the Critics’ Choice Awards for the category of Best Actress(Gujrati) for the movie ‘Dhunki’.

In 2020, she also worked in a rom-com movie named “Luv Ni Love Storys” which was directed by Durgesh Tanna.

Alongside this, she is now going to make an appearance in the Bollywood film industry and to make a debut movie alongside Ranveer Singh and featuring Jayeshbhai Jordaar which was directed by Divyang Thakkar.

Also, Deeksha Joshi will be seen in the upcoming project which is still untitled. In the film, she will be sharing the screen space alongside Esha Kansara and Gaurav Pashwala.
