Madhoo Shah, popularly known as Madhoo, is an Indian film actress who has worked in the Bollywood cinema and gave amazing performances during her career life. Moreover, she has marked her identity in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam cinema. She is mainly known for the movie “Phool Aur Kaante” which was directed by Kuku Kohli and it was released in 1991. In the movie, she worked alongside Ajay Devgan as a lead actress.

Career

In 1991, she started her career with a Tamil debut film “Azhagan” which portrayed the role of Swapna. Later in the same year, she made a Bollywood debut movie “Phool Aur Kaante” in which she worked alongside Ajay Devgan. It was Kuku Kohli’s directorial which became an instant hit of the year.

In 1992, she appeared in a Tamil hit movie “Roja” in which she worked alongside Arwind Swamy. While it was directed by Mani Ratnam and it had won the National Film Award for Best Film on National Integration.

In 1992, she appeared in another movie “Yodha” which was a Malayalam movie and directed by Sangeeth Sivan.

In 1993, she worked in another Tamil hit movie “Gentleman” – a directorial of S.Shankar. Moreover, she has hosted the most-watched television show “Rangoli” which was aired on DD National Channel since August 2019.

However, she has worked in more than 55 movies and also appeared in 6 television series. She has acted in a number of Bollywood movies for which she became popular for her amazing performances.
