Meezaan Jaffri is an emerging Indian film actor who recently made his Bollywood debut movie “Malaal” which was released in 2019. It was directorial of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. You will be amazed to know that Meezaan Jaffri is the son of the famed, veteran actor Javed Jaffri and Hiba Jaffri. While the couple is blessed with three kids, named Meezan Jaffri, the younger son, Abbas Jaffri, and a daughter, Alaviaa Jaffri. Meezaan Jaffri got his education from Ecole Mondiale World School, Mumbai, India. Later, he did graduation in Business. Also, he did a filmmaking course from the School of Visual Arts as he wanted to pursue a career in a similar field.
Career
Meezaan Jaffri started his career as an assistant director for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial “Baajirao Mastani” in which Deepika Padukone and Ranvir Singh appeared as the lead actors. After working as an assistant director for a few years, he then decided to work as an actor in movies. Fortunately, he got a chance to appear in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial “Malaal” which was released in 2019.
Apart from acting, Meezaan Jaffri is a great dancer and he learned to dance from his father, Javed Jaffrey. Moreover, one of his interviews, he explained that he never wanted to join the Bollywood film industry as he was some other plans about his career. But, yes… he belongs to a family of actors and directors so unexpectedly, he joined the film industry and started acting.
Moreover, you will be amazed to know that he is a trained Martial Arts and theatre. During his studies, he was so passionate about learning new skills so he used to take part in various activities, like; sports, tableaus, etc. He also represented the state of Maharashtra in many inter-and state-level Basketball competitions.
