Ravi Teja is a well-known Indian movie actor primarily known for his remarkable acting in Telugu movies. Recognized for his comedic dialogue conveyance, Ravi Teja is massively considered amongst of the most renowned and top-paid actors of Telugu movies, who has starred in more than sixty movies. In 1999 and 2002, he received Nandi Special Jury Award for his remarkable performance in the movies titled Khadgam and Nee Kosam and also received state Nandi Award for the best actor for his movie Neninthe in the year 2008.

Ravi Teja was born in Jaggampeta, India on January 26, 1968. He was born to Rajya Lakshmi Bhupatiraju and Raj Gopal Raju. His father was a pharmacologist whereas his Mom was a housewife. Ravi Teja is the eldest of three sons, the others being Raghu and Bharath who are also actors. Teja spent his childhood in Northern India just because his father used to move repeatedly on account of his work. He completed his schooling in Jaipur, Mumbai, Delhi and Bhopal.  Ravi completed his school education at N.S.M. Public School, Vijayawada. Afterward he earned his Bachelors in Arts degree at Siddhartha Degree College, Vijayawada. In the year1988, he settled in Chennai with the intention of starting his career in movies.
