An Indian actor and director, Vikrant Massey (born 3 April 1987) works in film and television. In 2004, he made his television debut with Kahaan Hoo Main.
Later, he had roles in shows such as Dhoom Machaao Dhoom, Dharam Veer, Balika Vadhu, Baba Aiso Varr Dhoondo, and Qubool Hai. First, he appeared in Lootera, then Dil Dhadakne Do, and finally Half Girlfriend as a supporting actor.
Career
Apart from acting, Vikrant Massey established his career as a dancer. Besides being a trained dancer, Massey has worked with Shiamak Davar, and choreographed one of his shows, Dhoom Machaao Dhoom.
A hit television show on Colors TV starring Vibha Anand and him was Balika Vadhu, in which he played Shyam Madan Singh. Later, he played Murli, Bharti’s husband, in Nikhil Sinha and Rakesh Paswan’s Baba Aiso Varr Dhoondo on NDTV Imagine.
Moreover, he has acted in Disney Channel’s India’s Dhoom Machaao Dhoom, Star Plus’s Kahaan Hoon Main’ which didn’t go on air.
He is also notable for the role of Dharam in NDTV Imagine’s Dharam Veer’. He also appeared as Ayaan Ahmed Khan as lead actor in Zee TV’s series ‘Qabool Hai’ after replacing Rishabh Sinha.
In 2013, Massey made his Bollywood film debut through a film named ‘Lootera’ directed by Vikramaditya Motwane. In the film, he acted alongside Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha.
He then didn’t stop acting in films and made several appearances in movies as a supporting actor. Massey has won millions of hearts and this led him to earn a huge fan following.
