Anil Dhawan is a film and TV actor, hailing from India and mainly works in the Bollywood film industry. He made his Bollywood “Chetna” which was released in 1970. Since then, he has been appearing in several movies and marked his identity in the Hindi cinema.

Career

In 1970, Anil Dhawan started his career and appeared in the first Bollywood movie “Chetna” for which he earned huge fame, and subsequently, he appeared in various movies.

In 1972, he appeared in the movie Piya Ka Ghar” in which he worked alongside Jaya Bhaduri. In the movie, he appeared in the song “Yeh Jeevan Hai” which was composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal while it was sung by Kishore Kumar.

During the 1960s to 1970, he appeared in unconventional movies and also appeared in “Yauwan”, “Annadata” and the list goes on.

He also appeared in the telefilm named “Sone Ka Pinjra” in which he worked alongside a veteran actor Aditya Pancholi.

Moreover, he appeared in another serial “Kora Kaghaz” which was directed by iconic, legendary actress/director Asha Parekh in 1990.

In 2011, he also worked in the serial “Mein Laxmi Tere Angan Ki” which was aired on Life OK channel. While in the serial, he worked alongside veteran actress, Aruna Irani. Also, he worked in the serial “Roop- Mark Ka Naya Swaroop” aired on Colors TV.

Apart from this, he has appeared in various movies in which he acted as a supporting actor.

Now he has become an activist and was the part of Anna Hazare Camp in his team against corruption in Indian Public Life.
