Divya Bharti (late) was an Indian actress who worked in the Hindi and Telugu film industry. She had worked in various movies and was known for her innocence, charming look. She had an incredible acting prowess for which she became popular. In the early 90s, she started working as an actress in the Hindi and Telugu movies and got huge acclaim for her brilliant performances. She was born on 25th February 1974 and died on 5th April 1993.
Career
Divya Bharti took the start of her career in the early 90s. It was the time when she was a teenager and did multiple acting gigs. In 1990, Divya Bharti appeared in the Telugu debut movie “Bobbili Raja” in which she worked alongside Venkatesh. While it was the romantic action movie for which Bharti gained huge appreciation. Since then, she frequently appeared in many movies. In 1990, she also worked in another Telugu movie “Nila Pennae” and also marked appearance in movies including “Naa Ille Naa Swargam” which was released in the year, (1991), and “Assembly Rowdy” released in the year (1991). Unfortunately, both movies got negative comments. While she got positive feedback on the commercial success rom-com movie “Rowdy Alludu”. In 1992, she worked in the Hindi cinema and worked in the debut movie “Vishwatma” starring Sunny Deol, Chunky Pandey, and others who played a vital role. In the same year, she appeared in the movie “Shola Aur Shabnam” starring Govinda. The film became a hit and subsequently, she got various opportunities to work on including “Deewana” in which she worked alongside Rishi Kapoor (Late) and superstar Shahrukh Khan. Fortunately, she was honored with the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Some of her other best movies include “Dil Ka Kia Kasoor”, “Andha Insaaf”, “Balwaan”, “Jaan Se Pyara”, “Geet”, “Dil Ashna Hai” starring Shahrukh Khan, “Rang”, “Dil Hi To Hai” and others are notable. While she worked from 1990 to 1993 and became the most popular actress.
