Manish Borundia is an Indian film actor who has managed to steal the hearts of many with his appealing and charismatic personality, and the amazing performances in Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada and Hindi films. He is the one who has struggled a lot and finally, reached his destination after constant efforts and hard work. He was born, raised, and grew up in Chennai, India, and studied from a reputed school of Chennai. After completing his studies, he then decided to start his professional career.

Career

Manish Borundia started his career working as a model and also managed his father’s business. Alongside this, he appeared in several commercials and music videos. He met with a famed director Ajith Kumar and often visited there during his film shoots. Later, Ajith Kumar introduced him to the acting line.

Later, Ajith Kumar requested Manish Borundia to play a small acting role in the movie named “Amarkalam” which was the best release of the year 1999. But, the original actor didn’t act so, Manish made his first on-screen appearance in the movie and kick start his acting career.

In 2000, Manish Borundia started accepting small roles in Tamil movies and often played as a lead role. Also, he is mainly known for the roles in “Kushi” which was directed by S.J.Surya, while it was released in 2000. Another popular movie “Parthen Rasithen” which was directed by Saran and released in 2000.

In 2001, he appeared in “Minnale” which was directed by Gautham Menon and “12B” which was directed by Jeeva.

Later, Manish Borundia appeared as a lead actor in “Vaanam Vasappadum” by P.C.Sreeram which was released in 2004 and then dropped the project because of his Hindi accent. Then the role was played by Karthik Kumar.

In 2005, he appeared as a lead in the Kannada film named “Jootata” in which he worked alongside Dhyan and Richa Pallod. Later, he appeared in another Kannada movie named “Nannusire” and for this role, he earned huge applause from film critics and fans.

In 2006, he appeared in the Tamil movie named “Madrasi” which was directed by Arjun. But when he didn’t get much success in the field of filming, then moved to Hong Kong where he runs his family’s jewelry business.

In 2019, he came back and made an appearance in the Hindi drama film named “Mission Mangal” which was directed by Jagan Shakti. In the drama film, Bollywood action superstar, Akshay Kumar, and the hottest lady Vidya Balan worked in supporting roles.
