Remo D’Souza is an uprising Indian choreographer, dancer, film director, film producer; film actor, who commonly recognized for his work in Bollywood movies as well as in television shows. He was born in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India on 2nd April, 1974.

Remo D’Souza abandoned studies right after completing his 12th grade and moved to Mumbai with the sole intention of pursuing his vision of becoming a famous choreographer. He enrolled for a dance class named Super Brats. Remo came to attention after his team successfully conquered “All India Dance Competition”. He afterwards got a chance to support renowned choreographer Ahmed Khan.

After supporting him for more than one year, he got major breakthrough of his career after he was tied with a choreographer for the Hindi movie titled “Bollywood Dreams”. It took him more than 5 years to recoup into bend again after he was chosen by Hansal Mehta for his movie titled Dil Pe Mat Le Yaar. It was the progressing point of his career as he has choreographed more than 100 Bollywood movies after that. Remo D’Souza has also received a number of awards for his magnificent choreography in movies such as Anybody Can Dance 2, Bajirao Mastani and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani amongst others. Aside from Bollywood, Remo D’Souza has also choreographed a number of Southern Indian language movies. Apart from choreography, Remo has also directed numerous Bollywood movies such as FALTU, A Flying Jatt and ABCD: Any Body Can Dance amongst others.  He has also produced movies such as Nawabzaade, DOA Death of Amar, and Time To Dance amongst others.

Apart from movies, Remo D’Souza has also worked as a judge in numerous dancing reality shows. He initiated off by judging a dancing reality show titled Dance India Dance and has judged a number of other famous shows such as Nach Baliye and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa amongst others. At present, he is serving as a judge for Dance Plus.

Remo D’Souza is all set to emerge as a film direct in Bollywood cinema with renowned film producer named Vashu Bhagnani. The movie FALTU will star Jackky Bhagnani and Sanjay Dutt. This film is sarcasm on current education system and Remo is in talks with Om Puri and Amitabh Bachchan for the leading roles.

Remo D’Souza was born to Madhvi Laxmi and Kalamandlam Gopi. He tied the knot with Lizelle D’Souza and the couple was blessed with two baby boys named Gabriel D’Souza and Dhruv D’Souza.
