Rishibhama Naval, popularly known as Simran Bagga- is an Indian actress, television personality, and producer. She appeared in Tamil and Telugu films. Also, she marked her identity in Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam cinema as well. She was born on 4th April 1976, in Mumbai, India where she raised and grew up with siblings. She is the daughter of Ashok Naval and Sharda. While Simran has 2 sisters and a brother, Monal & Jyothi Naval, and brother Sumith. She got an education from St. Anthony High School, and later graduated in Commerce. She is also a trained dancer and knows various dance forms, such as; Salsa and Bharatanatyam.
Career Journey
Initially, Simran Bagga wanted to become a fashion designer but after gaining fame and popularity of the series “Super Hit Muqabla”, she changed her decision and joined the film industry. In 1995, she made a Bollywood film debut with the movie “Sanam Harjai”. After appearing in some Bollywood movies, she then appeared in the movie “Tere Mere Sapne” in which she worked alongside Arshad Warsi, Chandan Chur, and Priya Gill. While it was released in 1996.
In the same year, she made a Malayalam debut “Indraprastham” in 1996. Also, she appeared in the Kannada movie “Simhada Mari” which was her debut movie. Later, she appeared in the Telugu film, “Abbai Gari Pelli”.
While in 2002, Simran Bagga singed some projects Fanta, Coca-Cola, and others. In 2008, PepsiCo appointed Simran as a brand ambassador to the South Indian market. Also, she is linked to General Mills India for Pillsbury Atta and has also worked in some television commercials.
Achievements
Among various honors and awards, Simran Bagga earned the nomination of the Filmfare Award for Best Actress-Tamil.
