Aditya Narayan is an Indian actor, singer, and host, known for being the son of the renowned singer Udit Narayan. Aditya is best known for his hosting skills as he first hosted the most popular reality television show named ‘Indian Idol’ and also participated in another reality TV show titled ‘Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi’ season 9.

Career

Initially, Aditya Narayan came under the spotlight after singing a song as a playback singer for the Nepalese movie named ‘Mohini’ in 1992. And later, he sang a song for a Bollywood film named ‘Rangeela’ along with Asha Bhosle.

In 1995, Aditya Narayan performed a song for ‘Akele Hum Akele Tum’ along with his father Udit Narayan. In the film, superstar Aamir Khan and Manisha Koirala appeared in leading roles.

Aditya Narayan made his career as a child star and first performed for the ‘Little Wonders’ theatre troupe. He was approached by the well-known film director Subhash Ghai at the Filmfare Award ceremony in 1995.

Then he was seen alongside Shahrukh Khan and Mahima Chaudhary in the Bollywood film named ‘Pardes’. Among others, ‘Jab Pyaar Kisi Se Hota Hai’ starring Salman Khan, became famous which earned him a Best Supporting Actor nomination at the Zee Cine Awards in 1999.

However, Aditya Narayan made his father so proud as he has been following his father’s footsteps and getting more appreciation for his work and talent.

Achievements

Among various achievements, the actor Aditya Narayan won his first major film award, the Screen Awards critics’ Best Child Singer in 1997. Also, he received a special jury award at the Screen Awards as a best child singer.
