She earned her bachelor degree with a major in English from Saginaw Valley State University USA. After that, she earned her Master’s Degree with a major in Mass Communication from the same Saginaw Valley University. In siblings, she has a sister named Timsy Chopra and a brother named Vikram Chopra. Parineeti Chopra, Priyanka Chopra and Mannara Chopra are her first cousin.

After successfully completing her post-graduation degree, Meera Chopra worked as a programmer executive with a famous news TV channel in USA. Though, she afterwards moved to India with a view to strengthening her career as an actress in showbiz industry.

In 2005, Meera Chopra made her first movie debut with a Tamil movie titled ‘Anbe Aaruyire’. It was a romantic comic movie directed by S.J. Surya wherein she portrayed the role of Madhu along with Nila and S.J. Surya. In the following year, she starred in a Telugu film ‘Bangaram’ wherein she performed as Sandhya Reddy.

After getting immense fame in these movies, Meera Chopra featured a number of megahit movies including ‘ ‘Killadi’, Jambhavan’ and ‘Jaganmohini’. Meera was correspondingly busy with Telugu movies and presented a few renowned films like Greeku Veerudu, Vaana and Mogali Puvvu.

Though, after starring in almost 15 films in Telugu and Tamil, she kicked off her journey in Bollywood with Satish Kaushik’s comic movie ‘Gang of Ghosts’ with Parambrata Chatterjee and Sharman Joshi. In the year 2015, Meera Chopra starred in another Bollywood movie titled ‘Mogali Puvvu’ with Kainaat Arora and Sachiin J Joshi though this film is not released yet. After that, the charming actress appeared in another horror film titled ‘1920 London’ opposite Vishal Karwali and Sharman Joshi.
