Initially, Deepika had been approached by Farah Khan for her movie “Happy New Year,” but the film didn’t go on the floor at that time. Therefore, Farah instead of that film, signed Deepika for her another upcoming megaproject, the film “Om Shanti Om.” Surprisingly, Deepika was again selected for Happy New Year, after the seven years later.

She got a remuneration of Rs. 500cr in 2013

Before becoming a superstar she has rejected to model with Salman Khan

It is a shocking truth. Before entering Bollywood, Deepika rejected an opportunity to pair up with Salman Khan in the Liril Soap ad. Salman also wished to act her beside him, when he saw the ad. Once Deepika received a call from the production about the modeling offer she rejected it as she wasn’t prepared for that.
