Later, Singh made an appearance in the film named ‘Machis’ in which he acted along with Tabu. For his performance, he won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.

In 1999, Chandrachur Singh gave an incredibly amazing performance in the film named ‘Daag: The Fire’ starring Sanjay Dutt and Mahima Chaudhary.
