1. Her Father Dictated The Spelling Of Her Name

Her father came up with the spelling of her name. Stephenie Morgan was born to Stephen Morgan, a financial officer, and Candy Morgan. Stephenie Meyer was born when her father took his name and added an I and an ‘e’ at the end.

2. She Considered Going Into Law

Meyer considered becoming a lawyer after receiving her BA in English from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. She, like many other writers, believed she couldn’t make it in the industry. She later wanted to be a devoted mother after the birth of her first child.

3. She Married A Friend From Her Childhood
