1. A GrandFather

In the early 1990s, he had two daughters with his first wife, Glenda. His first daughter, Keilani, has two children of her own, making Batista a grandfather before the age of 40.

2. Mixed Of Greek And Filipino Ancestry

Many fans are aware that Dave Bautista was born in Washington D.C. to Filipino parents, but this is only on his father’s side. Batista’s grandparents came to the United States from the Philippines. Donna Raye (née Mullins), his mother, is of Greek descent. [1]

3. Trained Brazilian jiu-jitsu

Batista expressed his desire to begin an MMA career shortly after leaving the WWE in 2010. He was 41 years old at the time. He received his purple belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu from none other than Cesar Gracie. [2]

Batista described his childhood as poor, and he witnessed things that no child should ever witness. He had witnessed three murders on his front lawn by the age of nine. He was stealing cars by the time he was 13 years old.
