1. He Wanted To Be A Marine Biologist

Hans wanted to be a paleontologist or a marine biologist as a child before opting to follow in his father’s footsteps, who was also a doctor. He was well on his way to becoming a doctor when he changed his mind and decided to pursue a career in acting. ^[1]

Growing up, soccer had a significant impact on his life. In Sacramento, he played in both high school and competitive leagues, and he would travel around the Pacific for tournaments, often playing four or five games in a single weekend.
