Satyakam Anand was born in Bihar. He is the son of Shiv Kumar Sahay. At the age of 19, he started taking part in small projects like drama theatre competitions. While taking part in the drama Samaryatra, Satyakam had traveled all over India, when he was in Goa, he found his soulmate and got married there and they have been married for the last 15 years.

His family was very keen on education but he was not that strong in studies. At the age of 15 to get admission to one of Patna’s top colleges, his family tried to gain admission through the drama quota. Although he couldn’t take admission in college his destiny led him on the road of becoming an actor from that moment onwards as he dropped his studies to pursue an acting career.

Satyakam has made his screen debut with the film, Dvandva in 2009, then he appeared in the film Shorts (2013), Satyakam is very much popular for his role as JP Singh in the film Gangs of Waseeypur.
