Career

Karishma Kapoor had a passion for acting in her childhood and inspired by late actress Sridevi. She always wanted to be a successful actress and after completing her studies, she pursued acting as a career. Once Karishma Kapoor revealed that her father was against her decision to work in the film industry as he didn’t want to go against his family traditions. But Karishma Kapoor was so enthusiastic about her career and wanted to accomplish her dream to work in the cinema.

In 1991, she took the start of her professional career with a debut movie “Prem Qaidi” for which she got good reviews from critics. Later, she made appearances in some commercials including “Sapne Sajan Ke” starring Rahul Roy, Jackie Shroff, and Dimple Kapadia, “Jaagruti”, “Deedar”,” Police Officer” and others are worth sharing. While she also worked in some hit Indian movies including “Jigar” in which she worked alongside Ajay Devgan,” Anari”,” Raja Babu”, worked alongside Govinda “Coolie No.1” worked alongside Govinda, “Jeet” starring Salman Khan, Sunny Deol and Tabu, “Sajan Chale Sasural” worked alongside Govinda and Tabu and other film projects are notable.
